A white-sand bay halfway down Koh Yao Yai's west coast with great holding. The main resort welcomes yachties to its spa and one of the biggest pools in the region.

Southeast Asia Pilot waypoint 07°58.789N 98°34.075E, about 18 nm from Yacht Haven. Anchor in 4–7 m off the white-sand beach in the north of the bay, south of the Santithiya Resort jetty. Several shops and restaurants are ashore, with the road just behind the beach and town a few km away. For a quiet night, use the southern end: the small resort beside Yao Yai Resort runs an all-night karaoke club. A January 2025 cruiser blog calls it Ao Lo Pa Raet, 'an open bay with resorts and shops'.
