Laem Son Beach, Koh Adang
6° 30.5′ N · 99° 18.4′ E · approximate
Adang's long south-facing beach of white sand and casuarina pines in front of the park station, looking straight across the channel at Koh Lipe.
Practical
Position approximate: an OpenStreetMap beach polygon on Adang's south shore near the park station; the beach name 'Laem Son' is the park area name used in the inventory, while Wikivoyage simply calls it the long beach where the accommodation is. Shallow water good for snorkelling (thainationalparks.com). Kayaking the 1,300 m across from Lipe is possible, but Wikivoyage warns not to swim the channel because the currents are strong.
Best for
Lazy beach afternoon across from Lipe
