Koh Po Village Landing
7° 32.3′ N · 99° 7.1′ E
A small Muslim fishing village on Koh Po (Ko Por), the island that shelters the Talat Lanta anchorage, with a jetty, cafe and seafood restaurant.
Practical
Wikipedia's Ko Lanta district page lists Ko Por with about 500 residents. Southeast Asia Pilot: the best overnight spot is between Koh Klang and Koh Po in about 5 m over mud; a very dangerous submerged rocky patch lies about 500 m north of Koh Po village, so approach from the south keeping Koh Po to starboard. Ferry landing and jetty mapped in OpenStreetMap; Pulau Dapor restaurant and Cseasky Coffee are beside it.
Best for
A village visit by dinghy from the Talat Lanta anchorage
Season
