Koh Nang Yuan Viewpoint

10° 6.9′ N · 99° 48.8′ E

A steep scramble up the boulders of Nang Yuan's southern islet to the classic view of the three islands and their sandbars, with Koh Tao behind.

Practical

Position from OpenStreetMap (viewpoint on Koh Nang Yuan). The resort's visitor page says the trail starts at the resort side of the main beach and circles the west side of the resort, takes about 15–20 minutes, is steep in places, and needs proper footwear. Covered by the 250 THB landing fee (verify locally). Day visitors are limited to 10am–3pm, which is hot and crowded; boats on the moorings overnight get the sunrise and late-afternoon light.
