Koh Lanta Fuel (road stations; no confirmed fuel dock)

7° 38.4′ N · 99° 2.0′ E

Lanta has no fuel dock confirmed in any published cruising source, so yachts fill jerry cans at the roadside stations on the Saladan-Klong Dao road or buy small quantities at Talat Lanta.

Practical

Southeast Asia Pilot: diesel and gasoline in small quantities at Talat Lanta (Old Town). Road fuel stations near Saladan include V.T. Petroleum and PT Petroleum on the Klong Dao road (OpenStreetMap), and there are more at Klong Khong, Klong Nin and Kantiang. Wikivoyage notes fuel is sold on almost every street corner at about 40 THB/L (verify locally). For larger quantities of diesel by hose, plan to fill at Phuket (Ao Chalong/Boat Lagoon), Krabi or Koh Lipe. No source confirmed a fuel barge or fuel dock at Saladan pier; ask the dive-boat operators there. Position: V.T. Petroleum road station.
