Lanta's most popular and most developed beach: about 3 km of sand, 2 km from Saladan pier, lined with resorts, bars and restaurants.
Practical
Wikivoyage: about 3 km long and 2 km from Saladan pier, with lots of accommodation and amenities. Yachts anchor off the north of the bay (see Had Khlong Dao Anchorage) in 4-6 m. A songthaew or tuk-tuk from Saladan to Klong Dao costs about 40 THB (Wikivoyage, verify locally). Beach bars here include Mook's Bar and Sunset Restaurant (Wikivoyage). Exposed to the west; in the SW monsoon (May-Oct) the surf makes landing unsafe.
