Koh Bon (Rawai)
7° 45.5′ N · 98° 19.9′ E · approximate
A small island just south of Rawai, 15 minutes by longtail, with two beaches: one was the landing for the now-closed Evason resort, the other is home to the castaway-style Bon Island Restaurant. Speedboats stop for lunch, then leave you with the place to yourself.
Practical
Coordinate is the OSM island centroid; no pilot-guide anchorage data was found. Rawai longtails charge about 1,300 THB per boat for a round trip (Phuket 101, verify). Sample 2026 menu prices: pepper prawns 280 THB, fried fish fillet 370 THB. Do not try to swim the channel from Rawai; it is busy with boat traffic.
