A short, steep scramble over granite boulders on the headland between Chalok Baan Kao and Shark Bay to Koh Tao's most famous view: both bays side by side below you.

Practical

Position from OpenStreetMap (John-Suwan Mountain Viewpoint, 'view on Ao Chalok and Ao Thian'). Wikivoyage names it the main viewpoint in the south of the island. OpenStreetMap records a 50 THB fee (undated, verify locally). Wear proper shoes; go for sunrise or sunset. Dinghy ashore at Chalok Baan Kao.
