Hin Wong Pinnacle

10° 6.8′ N · 99° 51.2′ E

A tabletop granite pinnacle off the north side of Hin Wong Bay, covered in hard and soft corals and visited by hawksbill turtles.

Practical

Position from OpenStreetMap (Hin Wong Pinnacle). Wikipedia: max 40 m, average 17 m, Open Water+, with hawksbill turtles, snapper, sweetlips and juvenile boxfish. Crystal Dive gives 10–30 m and notes it is distinct from the shallow Hin Wong Bay site. Best in the SW monsoon when the east coast is calm. Dinghy from the Hin Wong moorings in flat water, or go with a dive shop.
