Elixir Divers (Koh Yao Yai)

7° 56.0′ N · 98° 34.4′ E · approximate

A PADI dive centre at the south end of Koh Yao Yai whose speedboat reaches the Phuket–Phi Phi dive sites in about 20–25 minutes, the quickest way for a Koh Yao-based crew to dive Shark Point and Anemone Reef.

Practical

Position approximate: Elixir says it departs from the south tip of Koh Yao Yai; this point is Loh Jark Pier (OpenStreetMap), the nearest mapped pier, so confirm the meeting point when booking. Trips listed on its site (2026): Shark Point and Anemone Reef from 5,000 THB (4 hours), Phi Phi from 5,500 THB (6 hours), plus Koh Doc Mai and the King Cruiser wreck. Groups of 4–12 at a ratio of up to 1:4. It also runs snorkel trips (Phi Phi, James Bond Island with canoeing, and Hong four-islands with Laem Haad) and courses from Discover Scuba to Advanced Open Water. Shark Point, Anemone Reef and Koh Doc Mai are protected sites: use the moorings, never anchor on them. Dive operator, not a dive site: there are no published scuba sites inside Phang Nga Bay itself, where visibility is low. The dive sites these shops use are in the Phuket file.
