Hawksbill and green turtles both nest on Seychelles beaches; on Mahé the hawksbill season runs roughly September to March, with Anse Intendance and Baie Ternay among the beaches where females haul out.

Wikipedia (citing the Marine Conservation Society Seychelles) gives the hawksbill nesting season as 1 September to 31 March and notes MCSS proposed Anse Intendance as a seasonal protected area. MCSS runs seasonal protected-area work for nesting turtles. At anchor near nesting beaches: dim deck lights, no torches on the beach at night, never approach a nesting female, and leave hatchlings to find the sea alone. Coordinate is Anse Intendance beach (representative location).
