Moyenne Island Day Anchorage (Ste Anne Marine Park)

4° 37.0′ S · 55° 30.5′ E · approximate

A daytime stop off Moyenne's north side, in the channel towards Ste Anne's paid moorings, for wading ashore to Grandpa's Island's tortoises, graves and loop trail.

Practical

Approximate: placed about 140 m off Moyenne's north shore (OpenStreetMap outline), between Moyenne and the Ste Anne south-side moorings; no published waypoint. Moyenne has no jetty and no public ferry: you wade ashore from a small boat (moyenneisland.com), so time the landing for mid or high tide. Park tickets run 8am to 5pm; pay the Ste Anne park fee (SCR 200 per person, card only) plus a separate Moyenne landing fee (amount not published; verify locally). Tours land in the middle of the day, so arrive early or late for a quieter walk. Anchor only on sand in designated areas (SPGA); for the night, move to a paid park mooring on Ste Anne's south side (SCR 250 per yacht, SPGA 2026). No overnight stays ashore.
