Cousine anchorage (lee only)
4° 21.7′ S · 55° 38.6′ E · approximate
A lunch or snorkel stop in the lee of Cousine's granite shore — no landing, just clear water off a wild-looking island.
Practical
No moorings and no shore access (private island). Use only the lee side for the season: northwest of the island in the SE trades (this coordinate), the southeast side in the NW monsoon; daytime only, return to Grand Anse Praslin or Baie Ste Anne for the night. Anchor on sand, never coral; keep well off the beaches. Depth and holding not published in the sources used. Coordinate approx: about 450 m NW of the Wikipedia island position.
Best for
A quiet daytime stop combined with the Cousin tour
Season
Daytime, settled weather only
