Salt Spring Saturday Market (Ganges)

One of the best-known island markets in Canada, with more than 100 farmers, bakers and artisans filling Centennial Park by the Ganges waterfront. It is a reason in itself to time a visit for Saturday.

Coordinate is the OSM market area in Centennial Park. 2026 season: Saturdays April 4 to October 31, 9 am to 3 pm (to 4 pm in summer); December markets on three Saturdays, 10 am to 3 pm. A Tuesday farmers market (food only) runs 2 pm to 6 pm, roughly June to October. Arrive early: Ganges docks and the anchorage fill on Friday evening in summer. Walk from Kanaka wharf or dinghy to the Rotary park dock.
