Gorge Harbour Marina Resort (Cortes Island)

A full-service marina resort in the north-west corner of Gorge Harbour, a large landlocked bay on south-west Cortes Island. It has fuel, a store, a pool and hot tub, and the Floathouse restaurant. It is the only full resort marina on Cortes and a good place for crew changes.
Practical
Position is approximate, at the resort docks just west of the Gorge Harbour government wharf. Phone 250-935-6433; monitors VHF 66A. About 1,800 ft (550 m) of guest dock with 30 and 50 amp power, water, washrooms, showers, laundry and Wi-Fi. Fuel dock with gasoline and diesel, listed as open all year; propane at the store. Book ahead from about May 15 to September 15; some held-back slips are released at 4 pm daily first come, first served. Store with fresh food, liquor and ice. The Floathouse restaurant runs about May to September with reduced winter hours. Summer farmers' market Saturdays about 10 am to 1 pm. Gorge Harbour and Mansons Landing are a federal Designated Sewage Area: no discharge. Enter through The Gorge (see the passage note).
