Fairhaven and Bellingham Cruise Terminal (Bellingham)
48° 43.3′ N · 122° 30.8′ W
Fairhaven is Bellingham's south end, around the Port of Bellingham's south terminal. The Bellingham Cruise Terminal here is where the Alaska state ferries dock.
Practical
Coordinate is the OSM terminal. A boat ramp is at the south terminal; most boaters visit by land from Squalicum Harbor. Post Point, north of Chuckanut Bay, has a shoal running 450 yards west, marked by a lighted buoy; Starr Rock (6 ft, 1.8 m) lies about 200 yards off the shore with a buoy: do not pass inside it. Submerged pilings and debris lie along the old industrial waterfront between Squalicum Creek Waterway and South Bellingham (Coast Pilot).
