Tubbataha Dive Season (mid-March to mid-June)
8° 57.2′ N · 119° 52.1′ E
Tubbataha opens only in the calm window between the monsoons, roughly mid-March to mid-June, when seas flatten, skies clear and visibility reaches 30-45 m. Outside that window, rougher seas make the long open-water trip impractical, and liveaboards do not run.
Practical
Liveaboard spaces sell out up to a year ahead (TMO). For a private yacht, plan the Puerto Princesa-Tubbataha passage for April-May, the calmest stretch, and watch for the onset of the southwest monsoon in late May or June. Coordinates are the park reference point (Wikipedia).
