Tubbataha North Atoll
8° 53.8′ N · 119° 56.9′ E
The northern of Tubbataha's two atolls, home to the Ranger Station on its southern tip and the North Islet bird and turtle nesting site.
Practical
Coordinates are the centre of the reef as mapped in OpenStreetMap, not an anchorage. There is no anchoring on the reef: liveaboards work from the park's arrangements, and private boats must follow ranger instructions on where they may lie (ask the Tubbataha Management Office when you apply). The ranger station sits on the atoll's southern tip.
Best for
Wall dives and shark encounters on the northern ring
