The cruisers' big provisioning stop. Despite the 'duty free' name, it is a vast supermarket and department store stocked with imported and Costco-style goods, a short taxi ride from the marinas.

OSM location on Palm Street, Freeport. Wikivoyage lists Royal Duty Free at #1109 Palm Street, open 9:00 am-7:00 pm, with a smaller Royal Duty Free Hypermarket on Manila Avenue near Harbor Point. Cruisers say there is no real duty-free pricing, but the range of Western goods is the best in the region. Two Royal and two Puregold stores sit at opposite ends of town (2024). S&R, the Costco equivalent, is about 20 minutes away by car. Beer and spirits are cheap; wine is the expensive drink. Taxis are cheap; a car is very useful (2023-24 reports).
