North Rock Dive Site (Miniloc)

11° 9.7′ N · 119° 18.9′ E · approximate

El Nido's big-fish site: a broad flat reef with a swim-through of large rocks and a cleaning station that pulls in amberjacks and pompano, plus barracuda, bigeye trevally, turtles and stingrays - with the occasional whale shark.

Practical

Approx: no published position - PADI says only that it is 'located near Miniloc'; plotted off Miniloc's north end from the name. Confirm the actual spot with your dive operator. No reliable published depth or current data (a 2009 DiveBuddy listing gave a bank top around 12 m and a wall to about 24 m - too old to rely on). Dive.site notes it is dived in favourable currents.
