Maribojoc Bay Anchorage

9° 44.1′ N · 123° 50.2′ E

An overnight stop in Maribojoc Bay, between Panglao and Bohol's west coast, used by cruisers on the Bonbonon-Cebu run.

Practical

Philippines Compendium (Kelaerin, November 2011): stopped for one night at 'Panglao, Bohol (Maribojoc town)'; their own waypoint did not plot, and the compendium editor gives the pilot position 09 44.10'N 123 50.20'E, used here. Webb's guide (2009) lists Maribojoc Bay at 09 43'N 123 50'E without further detail. No depth or holding is published: sound in. The bay opens to the west, so it is best in the north-east monsoon. The Punta Cruz watchtower is on the bay's west shore.
