9° 38.4′ N · 123° 52.9′ E · approximate
A sculpture on the coast east of Tagbilaran marking the 'Sandugo' of 1565, the blood compact between the chieftain Datu Sikatuna and the Spanish explorer Miguel Lopez de Legazpi, remembered as the first treaty of friendship between Filipinos and Spaniards.
Practical
Position approx: on the coast road on Tagbilaran's eastern outskirts, where Wikivoyage places it; we found no surveyed coordinate. Wikipedia notes that a historical marker places the actual event at Hinawanan Bay, Loay. It is on most Bohol countryside tours.
