Dauis Church
9° 37.5′ N · 123° 51.9′ E
The Assumption of Our Lady Shrine-Parish Church at Dauis, just across the bridge from Tagbilaran: founded by Jesuits in 1697, its stone church was begun in 1863, and it is famous for a 'miraculous' well under the church. It is a National Cultural Treasure, restored in 2015-2017 after the 2013 earthquake.
Practical
Position from OpenStreetMap (Nominatim). Close to the Panglao end of the Tagbilaran bridges, so it is an easy walk or tricycle from a boat anchored south of Tagbilaran. Dress respectfully; services on Sundays.
