11° 28.4′ N · 119° 45.7′ E

Practical
Hackingfamily (Mar): 11 28.44N 119 45.73E in 48 ft (15 m) sand; protected from north and east; no cell signal. Tricky entry: the little island just west has a big reef, so enter from the south from 11 28.0N 119 45.6E (see Linapacan NW Bay Entrance), ideally with satellite imagery. Easier alternatives 1 nm NE at 11 29.14N 119 46.44E and 11 28.0N 119 46.5E with arguably better NE protection. Deeper into the south and east arms are more sheltered spots but they are deep with unknown bottoms and pearl farms. Moken (2015) anchored in 60 ft in 'North Bay' after winding past pearl farms and was visited by the farm's security banca. Speedwell (Dec 2023) found Linapacan anchorages often very deep, anchored in 10 m sand on the NW coast, but a big swell rolled in.
