Liminangcong Anchorage & Jetty (Endeavour Pass)

11° 0.6′ N · 119° 18.1′ E

A working fishing town at the head of Endeavour Pass, the narrow back door from Bacuit into Malampaya Sound - sheltered, convenient, with diesel alongside a concrete dock and a craft brewery up the road.

Practical

Hacking Family: 11°00.59'N 119°18.10'E (or 11°00.63'N 119°18.29'E), 35-42 ft (about 11-13 m) mud; don't anchor west of the west anchorage, it gets close to shallows. Southeast Asia Pilot: jetty at 11°0.579'N 119°18.066'E, generally more than 10 m in the passage, concrete dock for fuel. Tie the dinghy at the ferry pier (the steps on the south side of the main pier are better). Fuel station at the head of the pier fills jugs with petrol or diesel; the west-side fuel dock was closed in July 2020. Small public market, no grocery found. Strong, variable tidal current in the sound here - Speedwell timed an 8:30 am departure to use it.
