Hole in the Wall Dive Site

13° 31.4′ N · 120° 59.6′ E · approximate

A coral-framed swim-through off Escarceo Point that opens onto the current-swept slope leading to the Canyons - trevally, jacks and sweetlips hang in the flow on the far side.

Practical

Position approx: derived just west/up-current of the PADI Canyons position, since PADI says the Canyons drift starts near Hole in the Wall and Scandi Divers places it at Escarceo Point; your dive guide will drop you on it. Entry around 9 m over coral fields, then drop-offs down to the hole at about 12-15 m (Scandi Divers; Underwater Asia). Watch your tank valve in the swim-through. Current runs when the tide is right - often dived as the first part of the Canyons drift. Soft corals, sponges, crinoids and sweepers inside.
