Habagat Season on White Beach
11° 57.5′ N · 121° 55.1′ E · approximate
From roughly June to October the southwest monsoon swings the weather onto White Beach: wind, waves, rain and the year's main typhoon risk.
Practical
Approx: plotted off White Beach. White Beach often gets large winds and waves making it unsuitable for swimming; ferries move from Cagban to Tambisaan/Tabon and sunset cruises leave from Bulabog. For yachts: the west side becomes untenable; YIT suggests Bulabog's outer bay in 4–7 m. Tropical storms can impact Boracay at any time of year but are most likely in the habagat (Wikipedia). Monitor PAGASA bulletins; the Coast Guard suspends small-vessel trips under wind signals.
