Dumaguete Rizal Boulevard
9° 18.4′ N · 123° 18.6′ E
Dumaguete's seafront promenade, lined with hotels, cafes, restaurants and bars, many in converted sugar-era mansions and ancestral houses, with views across the bay to Cebu and Siquijor. The southern end is Pantawan People's Park, where food carts sell balut and fishballs in the evening.
Practical
Position from OpenStreetMap (Nominatim). The promenade runs from the Port of Dumaguete to the mouth of the Banica River (Wikipedia). Dragon-boat races are sometimes held in the harbour and watched from the boulevard (Wikivoyage). Festivals: Sandurot in September and the province-wide Buglasan 'Festival of All Festivals' in October (Wikipedia). It is the natural first walk ashore from the Dumaguete anchorage.
Best for
An evening stroll and street food after landing the dinghy
