Freedom Travel (2023): a relatively long menu of burgers and sandwiches on 'a beautiful but less touristy beach' - 'the view was perhaps more impressive than the food'. Shipwreck Beach Bar beside the lighthouse (OSM 11.3423°N 124.1114°E) was a cold-drinks-only sunset spot in 2023 while being rebuilt. Useful when anchored off the north or north-west coast; the village shops are about 1.5 km south on foot.
