Caticlan Jetty Port

11° 55.7′ N · 121° 57.0′ E

The mainland gateway to Boracay on the north-west tip of Panay, where outrigger bancas and fast boats shuttle across the narrow strait every few minutes.

Practical

Operated with a sister jetty at Tabon (11.9392, 121.9546) for when wind and sea favour the east side. Boats run to Cagban jetty (south Boracay) most of the year and to Tambisaan jetty (east coast) in the habagat. Terminal fee PHP 300 per person per arrival/departure under Aklan Provincial Ordinance 2022-021, plus the Boracay environmental fee (see that entry), paid cashless through Boracay iPass (EO 45, s. 2025) with a PHP 85 convenience fee (2025 hotel source; verify locally). Fuel: road stations cluster at the jetty (Shell, Flying V, Seaoil, Petron along the Caticlan road per OSM), so diesel and petrol come by jerry can, not from a dock. Shops, bakeries and a 7-Eleven around the port. Not a port of entry for foreign yachts.

Best for

Crew changes, ferries, jerry-can fuel
