Boracay Environmental and Terminal Fees

11° 55.7′ N · 121° 57.0′ E · approximate

Every visitor crossing to Boracay pays a terminal fee and an environmental fee at the Caticlan/Tabon jetty, now through the cashless Boracay iPass system.

Practical

Approx: plotted at the Caticlan jetty terminal (OSM) where fees are collected. 2025 figures (Shangri-La Boracay, citing the ordinances): terminal fee PHP 300 per person on both arrival and departure (Aklan Provincial Ordinance 2022-021, s. 29.3); environmental fee PHP 150 local / PHP 300 foreign; Boracay iPass convenience fee PHP 85 per person (Executive Order 45, s. 2025). Exempt: Aklan residents with proof, Aklanon lineage, valid terminal pass holders, children 5 and under. Older guides quote PHP 100 terminal and PHP 75 environmental fees. Since the 2018 reopening, visitors have been asked to show a pre-booked accredited hotel before boarding. How the fees apply to crew arriving on a private yacht is not published; ask the Malay Tourism Office or PCG when you call in.
