11° 10.0′ N · 123° 43.2′ E
The coral-stone Saints Peter and Paul church (current building 1839-1863) on Bantayan's plaza stands on the oldest parish in the Visayas and Mindanao, founded by Augustinians in 1580, with a 1,130 m² painted ceiling mural (2018-2019).

Coordinates are the church tower in OpenStreetMap. The church was partially damaged in the September 2025 Cebu earthquake - check whether it is open. A papal indult of 1824 is the origin of Bantayan's tradition of not abstaining from meat and of stopping fishing during Lent. Holy Week processions with carnival-style carrozas draw large crowds on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday; the Palawod fishing festival is on June 29.
