Anda Public Market and Stores
9° 44.5′ N · 124° 34.4′ E
Anda's market hall in the town centre, a few minutes' walk from Quinale Beach, with a food centre behind it and a 7-Eleven, small stores, laundry and fuel close by: the only real shopping on Bohol's east coast.
Practical
Position from OpenStreetMap (Anda Market). Bohol-philippines.com gives Tuesday as Anda's recorded trading (market) day but warns the provincial market list is old in places; ask locally. Wikivoyage: food centre behind the market (8 stalls, cheap Filipino food, pizza and pasta, dawn to dusk); a Metrobank ATM at the Town Hall takes Visa and Mastercard (up to P10,000 per withdrawal, P200 fee; undated, verify locally), while the First Consolidated Bank ATM does not take international cards. OSM maps a 7-Eleven (9.7441N 124.5751E), Biyay's Convenience Store (9.7419N 124.5743E), Generosa Gultiano Store (daily 5am-8pm) and a laundry by the market (9.7423N 124.5738E). Fuel: Petron (9.7419N 124.5725E) and AM Gasoline Station (9.7408N 124.5706E). For a big shop, Tagbilaran is about 2 hours by road; Jagna is the nearest port town.
