Jagna Port Anchorage
9° 38.7′ N · 124° 22.2′ E · approximate
An open roadstead off Jagna's ferry port on Bohol's south coast, the jumping-off point for Camiguin and northern Mindanao.
Practical
Position approx: placed about 400 m south-east of Jagna ferry terminal (OSM 9.6479N 124.3674E) and checked as open water on the OpenStreetMap coastline. The port light is Fl 5s (OSM, Jagna Lighthouse 9.6492N 124.3668E). Webb (2009) lists Jagna without any anchoring detail, and we found no cruiser report: sound in, keep clear of the ferry approach to the pier, and expect swell in the south-west monsoon (the coast faces the open Bohol Sea). Wikipedia: the town has daily market and port operations, and a Metrobank 24-hour ATM on the national highway (Wikivoyage).
Best for
Overnight before the crossing to Camiguin
Season
Settled weather; exposed in SW monsoon
