Guindulman Bay Anchorage

9° 45.5′ N · 124° 29.7′ E

A sandy-bottomed bay in south-east Bohol with a fresh market at the head of the bay and wall dives on its eastern side, the nearest documented yacht anchorage to Anda's white beaches.

Practical

Sloepmouche (March 2016, SSCA Bulletin, in the Philippines Compendium): 09 45.49'N 124 29.71'E in 20 ft (about 6 m) over good sand with a gentle slope. Avoid the shallow reef areas west of the small float with a flag; you pass over them by dinghy going to the main wall and buildings at the head of the bay. Tie the dinghy beside the stairs of the concrete dock that leads into the public market and town centre. Nice fresh market; Globe internet good. They made an OK scuba dive on the walls on the east side of the bay, with more sites round the corner. Webb (2009) lists 'Guindulan Bay and City' without detail.
