Amihan Northeast Swell at Bulabog

From about October to March the northeast monsoon blows steadily onto Boracay's east side, turning Bulabog into a kite playground and White Beach into a millpond.

Approx: plotted off Bulabog reef. Wikipedia: amihan from some time in October to some time in March; the switch is often abrupt and overnight. Kitesurf data: NE–E 15–25 kn, strongest Jan–Mar. For yachts: east coast and Bulabog are a lee shore; anchor on the west side (White Beach/Punta Bunga, with permission).
