Boracay LPG Cylinder Exchange (Gasul)
11° 57.4′ N · 121° 55.9′ E
A Petron Gasul outlet in Manoc-Manoc, behind the Station 3 / D'Talipapa area: the one mapped place on the island to swap a Philippine cooking-gas cylinder.
Practical
Position: OpenStreetMap building tagged shop=gas, name 'Gasul' (way 31950806). Philippine LPG works on a swap-the-bottle system: Soggy Paws (2024) says the Philippines prohibits refilling propane tanks for safety reasons, so a boat staying a while should buy a local cylinder plus a matching regulator or adaptor and swap it for full ones. Foreign cylinders will not be filled here. No other LPG dealer is mapped on Boracay or in Caticlan in OSM; ask at the fuel stations (Petron above Cagban, Shell and AKY on Ambulong Street) or at sari-sari stores, which often stock Gasul or Solane. Carry cylinders by tricycle; open-flame and gas-handling on the beach is not allowed. Prices change often - verify locally.
