Aguining Point Anchorage (Lapinig Island)
10° 5.0′ N · 124° 35.9′ E
A small village bay on the east side of Lapinig Island, a staging stop before crossing the Canigao Channel to Leyte.
Practical
RCC Plainsong navigation notes (2025): 10 05.0'N 124 35.9'E, the bay immediately east of the Sea Cruising Club coordinates, with a village. Not particularly well protected from north-east to east and a bit rolly. You cannot go far in because a reef lies about level with the end of the stone breakwater. Pleasant place, friendly people; cell reception OK but not great. The larger bay to the west may be better but was encumbered with fish traps.
Best for
