The downtown beach in front of El Centro, Blue Flag certified since 2015, and the stage for the island's fishing-tournament awards. It is a short walk from the ferry piers and the downtown dinghy landings.

Coordinate is approximate: an OpenStreetMap beach node on the east side of downtown (by Hotel La Perla); the beach is not mapped as a separate named feature. Blue Flag since 2015 (Spanish Wikipedia). The Cosme Alberto Martínez Magaña fishing tournament's closing ceremony is held here (May 2026). This side of town faces the open Caribbean - check surf and currents before swimming.
