The East Cape's best small-town provisioning: two supermarkets, a Tienda Popular, a produce stand and an Oxxo within a couple of blocks of the main street.
Practical
Pin is Supermercado Chapitos (OSM, open daily 7 am-10 pm). Mercado La Costa is next door; Tienda Popular Los Barriles is about 150 m east toward the beach; a produce stand and an Oxxo are on Calle Valentín Ruiz González near the Bancomer ATM (bank Mon-Fri 9 am-4 pm). Note there is no marina at Los Barriles and our sources describe no yacht anchorage off the town - most sailors reach it by road from Marina Puerto La Ribera (Costa Palmas) about 12 km south, or from La Paz/San José. Town population 1,674 (2020).
