Coordinate from Wikipedia. Our sources do not describe Bahía de Palmas as a yacht anchorage: The Log says only three anchorages on the whole 140 nm Los Cabos-La Paz leg give decent protection from northerly winds, and Bahía de Palmas is not among those it describes (Los Frailes and Muertos Cove are) - visit by land, or anchor off only in settled weather with local knowledge. Events: the Tuna & Wahoo Shoot Out (September 19, 2026, Hotel Playa del Sol) and Bisbee's East Cape Offshore (Buena Vista), which opens the fall tournament season. Winter westerlies at the head of the bay average 20-25 knots - Los Barriles is Baja's kitesurfing and windsurfing capital (Wikipedia), so expect a lively afternoon breeze Nov-Mar.
