Approximate: placed in the water just north of the OSM outline of Playa Las Gatas (17.6209, -101.5525). Roads Less Traveled anchored 'in a quiet corner off Las Gatas Beach' for weeks (Jan-Feb 2013) and joined cruiser in-water happy hours off the beach. Keep clear of the water-taxi lane from the municipal pier and of the old stone breakwater. The dinghy ride to town is about a mile; carry a spare and tools (an outboard failure here ended in a water-taxi tow for one crew). Depth and holding not recorded in sources; sound your spot.
