Hilda's Boat Delivery Service (Zihuatanejo)

A long-running local delivery service for anchored boats: Hilda and Ismael sell water-taxi tickets in town and supply the Las Gatas palapas, and will bring diesel, water, propane, laundry and cases of drinks out to your boat.
Practical
Approximate: their kiosk is in town near the municipal pier; position set at the pier. Call Hilda on VHF 65; she speaks a little English, so be patient. 2017-18 prices from S/V Liquid: diesel by jerry can 21 MXN/liter (she helped siphon it into the tanks), 50 gal of bottled water in large bottles at 22 MXN each, laundry 18 MXN/kg, propane fill 22 MXN/kg, all picked up and returned to the boat; she will also take your garbage if you order. Prices are old: verify locally. Current listing (Sailfest cruiser page): Ismael & Hilda's booth is at the pier entrance beside the Tourist Welcome building; they deliver fuel, water, ice, beer and propane, monitor VHF 65 (phone 755 108 9161), and act as the Amazon Mexico drop-off at Paseo del Pescador 1-B. For diesel yourself, the Pemex on Morales at the top of Cinco de Mayo can be reached by dinghy from the head of the lagoon and a short walk.
