On dark nights the surf and shallows at Chacala can light up with blue sparks from dinoflagellates whenever the water is disturbed. A swim or a dinghy ride turns magical.
Practical
It's best on moonless nights. Walk the beach or trail a hand from the dinghy. It isn't present every night, depending on water conditions. Coordinate is approximate (the Chacala beach front).
