Beach the dinghy inside the sand spit in late afternoon and walk about 3/4 mi north along the beach, then turn inland. Wear solid shoes for the walk back in the dark. Campo Archelon was the sea turtle research station founded by the late biologist Antonio Reséndiz. Hours seasonal — verify locally.
