Cruiser reviews (noforeignland) rate check-in as frequently difficult: visitors are often sent to a marina to check in instead, which causes confusion. Bring copies of every document. Acapulco officials advised one 2026 skipper to do the international clear-out at Puerto Chiapas instead.
