Toucari Bay

15° 36.6′ N · 61° 28.1′ W · approximate

A small fishing-village bay just north of the Cabrits, inside the Cabrits marine area, with coral-covered rocks running out from the beach and one of the north's best snorkel and dive reefs.

Practical

Position is OpenStreetMap's 'Toucari Bay' label point (approximate). PAYS planned new visitor moorings at Toucari (Noonsite, Nov 2024) - ask PAYS on VHF 16 whether they are in place and how to pay. The Cabrits marine area runs between Prince Rupert Bay and Toucari Bay. Open to the west and north: a day stop in settled trades, not in northerly swell. Keepin' It Real restaurant is mapped at the village (OpenStreetMap). St Anthony village feast in June (avirtualdominica).

Best for

Day stop for snorkelling north of Portsmouth

Season
