Cabrits Trails

Short forest trails over the Cabrits peninsula: up to the 140 m East Cabrit and 171 m West Cabrit summits, down to Douglas Bay, or around the swamp - dry coastal forest full of endemic tree and ground lizards with views over both bays.
Practical
Trails (Forestry): East Cabrits, West Cabrits, to Douglas Bay, and Swamp Trail - each about 1.2-2 km; easy to moderate; allow about an hour. Same eco-site pass as Fort Shirley (US$8 single site, effective Dec 2025). Waitukubuli National Trail Segment 14 ends here. Hike with someone and keep to the trails.
