PAYS Dominica Yachting Festival & Race to Mero

A week each March when Portsmouth thanks the visiting fleet: free welcome dinner, beach BBQs, discounted Indian River and island tours, a jump-up street party and a two-day dinghy-towing race down the coast to Mero and back, started in 2016 to promote the donated mooring field.

2027 dates published by PAYS: Sunday 21 to Saturday 27 March 2027 (programme 'coming soon'); register by the Google Form on the PAYS site; Race to Mero entries and deposits via sailopo.com (OPO). 2026 terms (may change): first 30 boats to sign up got a $100 sponsorship; regular PAYS moorings $12/night all season; anchoring free; customs about US$30 for a week at the PAYS office. The Salty Dawg Caribbean Rally Dominica Rendezvous is listed for 1-5 February 2027. Position approximate - the PAYS pavilion on Purple Turtle Beach.
