From February to July the cane harvest is on, ox-carts and lorries haul cane to the mills and the distilleries run - the best time to see Marie-Galante's rum being made.

Position approx: Distillerie Bielle. Bielle states its distilling campaign runs February to July (tourist office). The dry season (carême) runs roughly December/January to April-June and is the island's best weather (tourism board; Wikipedia). Distilleries stay open for visits and tastings year-round.
